Welcome to Ming. These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of askming.app and related services (collectively, the "Service"). By using Ming, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
By using Ming, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
Ming is a web service (askming.app) that calculates your BaZi (Four Pillars of Destiny) chart based on your date and time of birth, and provides interpretive readings using a combination of traditional Chinese astrology principles and AI-powered analysis. The Service includes free features (your BaZi chart, Day Master, Five Elements, Luck Pillars, and a short reading) and paid deep reports available individually or via a Yearly Unlimited subscription. You must be at least 13 years old to use Ming. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you must have permission from a parent or legal guardian.
Ming offers the following paid products on askming.app. All prices are in USD; a full breakdown is available at askming.app/pricing.

Payments are processed by our Merchant of Record, Creem.io, which handles payment processing, applicable sales taxes and VAT, and invoicing on our behalf. Yearly Unlimited automatically renews at the end of each billing period unless canceled beforehand.
You can cancel the Yearly Unlimited subscription at any time by emailing [email protected] with the email address used at checkout, or by using the customer portal link included in the payment receipt you receive from Creem. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you retain access to premium features until then.
Because AI-generated reports are custom-delivered instantly upon purchase, all sales are final by default. If a report fails to generate due to a technical issue on our side, please email [email protected] within 14 days of purchase — we will either re-issue the report or refund the payment via Creem. Statutory refund rights in your jurisdiction (e.g., EU withdrawal rights) apply as required by law.

All content, design, code, algorithms, and trademarks associated with Ming are owned by us or our licensors. You may use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes only. AI-generated readings are provided to you for personal use; you may share them informally but may not resell, republish, or use them as part of a commercial product.
Ming uses artificial intelligence to generate readings and answers. AI-generated content may be inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate. We do not warrant the accuracy or reliability of any AI-generated content. By using AI features, you acknowledge that responses are generated by an algorithm and not by a human astrologer.
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue all or part of the Service at any time, with or without notice. We are not liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the Service.
We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service at any time, without prior notice, if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including disclaimers, limitations of liability, and dispute resolution) will continue to apply.
The Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free from viruses or other harmful components. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event shall Ming, its developers, or affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claims related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or USD $50, whichever is greater.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which the Service is provided, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will be resolved through binding arbitration or in the courts of competent jurisdiction.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
